ALGIMIA DE ALMONACID, VALL DE ALMONACID, MATET y ALMEDIJAR
ALGIMIA DE ALMONACID 2009
Del 26 al 29 de agosto se han celebrado los actos taurinos en esta bonita localidad de la sierra Espadán. Cuatro días donde hemos visto tardes de vaquillas, toros embolados, encierros de toros, toros cerriles y espectáculos cómicos. El ganado ha pertenecido al ganadero local de Jaime Pertegaz, donde se han visto animales ya consagrados y animales jóvenes de la casa.
Destacar el jueves , el dia de todo toros la actuación del toro Naranjito y la de un novillo colorado carinegro de nombre Caramelo, que derrochó bravura en toda su actuación, haciendo disfrutar a los rodadores. Esa misma noche la embolada de Huracán también fue muy buena. El plato fuerte de la semana vino el viernes con el tradicional día de la Peña taurina Gato Montés. Con gran afluencia de público comenzó la tarde con la vaca Centella y Bonita que estuvieron muy bien trabajando el tablao y derrotando , en el caso de centella y gustando mucho al personal. Luego salió un toro Capón de nombre Lucero , impresionante de presentación y trabajando muy rápido el tablao. A continuación y como antesala a los cerriles salió el toro Matraquillo , toro colorado bien presentado. El toro salió mandando en la plaza , poco a poco hizo unas subidas al tablao pero sin mucho peligro, fue derrotando en barrotes con fuerzas , pero al final el toro realizó unas subidas y bajadas al tablao detrás de Julio de Segorbe, con mucho peligro , gracias a un jersey no ocurrió nada más. Toro listo y de peligro. El plato fuerte de la tarde vino con la desencajonada del toro Fantasia de Diego Romero, toro muy bonito y bien presentado con el que disfrutaron los rodadores. El segundo toro en salir , un toro mas grande que el anterior de nombre Almacenero de la ganadería de Jose Luis Pereda, resultando en el juego algo mas parado que el anterior. Por la noche fueron embolados los dos cerriles. El sábado, para terminar las fiestas Jaime Pertegaz , preparó un corro de vacas jóvenes y veteranas. Destacamos a Secretaria , por los derrotes que dio y la vaca Chata por su seriedad que impuso, metiendo la cabeza y sus subidas al tablao de peligro. A continuación salió el veterano Alegre que divirtió al público por sus subidas al tablao y la gran cantidad de veces que metió la cabeza en los barrotes. Después de la merienda , los jóvenes toreros del pueblo realizaron salto y quiebros con novillas de Pertegaz para el divertimento del público.
VALL DE ALMONACID 2009
Del 12 al 15 de Agosto se celebraron los actos taurinos de las fiestas patronales de la localidad. Este año nos han visitado cuatro ganaderías, tres habituales como Fdo. Machancoses, Hnos.Benavent , Jaime Pertegaz y la debutante de Pedro Peris. En general se ha visto una buena semana, destacando la vaca Vibora de Benavent, que estuvo muy seria y la tarde en general de Pertegaz donde los rodadores disfrutaron mucho con vacas como Vainilla y Careta que les seguían hasta barrotes. Por lo que respeta a los toros embolados el toro exhibido por Pedro Peris el sábado ha sido el más completo de la semana. Asi concluyó la Vall, donde hemos echado en falta un tablao donde hubiéramos visto algún detalle de más animales.
MATET 2009
La semana del 19 al 23 de Agosto tuvimos toros en la pequeña localidad de Matet. Un año más el ganado se ha confiado en la ganadería vecina de Jaime Pertegaz. Durante toda la semana hemos tenido un ganado bien presentado y con movilidad que es lo que hace falta en este tipo de recorridos. Pero lo mejor de la semana ha estado en las emboladas donde hemos visto tres emboladas de muy buen nivel. Canoso empezó la semana apretando mucho en las rodadas y dando algún susto. Tenderito, toro joven colorado, también realizó una gran embolada derrotando ,donde a los 30 min se había quitado las dos bolas. Y por último la mejor embolada fue la realizada por el capón Carbonero con largas arrancadas y calentándose poco apoco y derrotando cada vez más. También tuvimos una desencajonada de un novillo cerril del hierro de Pertegaz y una tarde exhibición de saltos y quiebros y demás suertes con novillas que dieron un excelente juego.
ALMEDIJAR 2009
Almedijar, localidad a los pies del pico Espadán, ha celebrado sus fiestas taurinas del 11 al 15 de agosto. El ganado ha pertenecido durante toda la semana a Jaime Pertegaz. Las tardes han sido una combinación de vacas veteranas con otras vacas jóvenes y novillas de la casa que han dado un juego muy bueno en cuanto bravura. De la tarde del miércoles destacamos la actuación del toro Matraquillo, que hizo una espectacular actuación derrotando con fuerza en los barrotes, y doblando más de una barrera estando a punto de escaparse. También el susto que le propinó a Raul de navajas tras una subida y bajada , con peligro, del tablao. El viernes tuvimos la desencajonada del toro de la Peña Taurina de Almedijar. Este año adquirieron un precioso toro de Los Millares, de nombre Berberisco. Un toro de excelente estampa que realizo una bonita salida pero no tuvo una gran actuación , como otros toros que se han desencajonado en esta plaza. Por la noche fue embolado cumpliendo con la embolada. En segundo lugar , Pertegaz emboló a Chinegre toro de la casa que realizó una muy buena embolada en su primera media hora, con fuertes arrancadas. El sábado 15 , Jaime preparó un corro de vacas veteranas que estuvieron muy bien derrotando en barrotes. También tuvimos la actuación del toro Alegre que derrotó con fuerzas en barrotes e hizo varias subidas al tablao. Así concluyeron las fiestas de Almedijar y ahora solo nos falta esperar a San Blas en febrero.
